Valor and Robinson Willey are proud to have worked closely with the Heating & Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) to help create a new guide to buying a gas fire – and there has never been a better time to choose gas.
The new guide, called “Why choose gas for your fires and stoves”, is packed with reasons why homeowners should choose gas when looking for a new focal point fireplace in their home. More importantly, they are also the reasons installers, merchants and retailers should be promoting gas fires to their customers.
Valor and Robinson Willey were two of a number of leading gas fire manufacturers to get involved and have played an instrumental part in creating the content featured in the guide. It features eight main reasons to ‘go gas’ when choosing a centrepiece including aesthetic appeal, impressive efficiencies, low running costs and high safety standards. Clean and convenient heating, ease of use and reliable heating even in case of a powercut were also listed.
Roger Webb, director of the HHIC, said: “A gas fire is a safe, efficient and economical method for heating your home, particularly when used as a single source of heat. On a chilly day it is not always necessary to turn on the central heating - a gas fire will heat up a room quickly and inexpensively, providing instant heat at the flick of a switch.
"We are launching this guide to help people understand the many benefits of a gas fire and to showcase the inspiring designs available. There is a gas fire to suit old or new properties, all tastes and budgets, we want to help people make the right choice when creating the very heart of their home."
